A French financing firm FINANCE INNOVATION, has entered into an agreement with kLab, Rwanda’s Tech-startup incubator, to link Rwandan startups with French Fintech firms for skills training.
The agreement, signed on Thursday afternoon in Kigali city, also covers for securing business partnerships.
The memorandum of understanding signed by Joëlle DURIEUX, Director General of FINANCE INNOVATION and Aphrodice MUTANGANA, Director General, kLab, is intended to implement joint projects that will build on the ecosystems and expertise from both countries.
The partnership will focus on the following priority areas: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, Risk management, payment systems, technical support, creating favourable conditions for accessing instruments of financing, search and mentoring.
Funded in 2007, FINANCE INNOVATION is a unique cluster for innovation in the French financial sector. It has accelerated the creation and development of innovative projects devoted to economic, societal and environmental challenges.
